Responsibilities
This position is the first point of contact between the practice and the patient and is responsible for creating a friendly, welcoming calm and efficient environment for the practice
The Medical Office Assistant II serves patients with poise and compassion virtually or on-site, fields phone calls, answers patient questions, schedules new and follow-up appointments, registers patients and updates records and represents the entire practice every time there is interaction with a patient
In addition, the Medical Office Assistant II assists with the training of Medical Office Assistant staff and provides guidance with workflow questions
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate or GED required
2 years' experience in a medical office practice setting is required
Preferred
3 years' experience is preferred
