Responsibilities
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual refrigeration repair, predictive maintenance, and preventative maintenance activities for industrial refrigeration systems (Ammonia/CO2/Freon) in a safe and timely manner while providing superior customer service
Conduct routine and emergency industrial refrigeration repair and maintenance services on equipment, including compressors, condensers, pumps, motors, valves, and electrical troubleshooting of systems, automation/controls, and alarm systems
Perform compressor repairs and seal replacements on different compressor manufacturers
Perform preventative maintenance such as compressor alignment and vibration analyses using up-to-date technologies
Demonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements
Work unsupervised or with limited instruction
Qualification
Required
Ability to troubleshoot and repair Ammonia/CO2/Freon industrial refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical systems
Ability to read and interpret ammonia refrigeration manuals, documents, and drawings (P&ID's)
Valid Driver's License
Excellent technical and mechanical skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Must pass a drug screen for employment
Must pass a physical examination and Respirator FIT Testing
Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations, and lift objects up to 50 lbs
Availability to work overtime and weekends
Prolonged periods of working in various temperature environments
