Marketing and Business Development Specialist

Bochner PLLC is a technology-focused law firm serving innovators, from startups to Fortune 500 companies. They are seeking a Marketing and Business Development Specialist to help build a robust marketing function, manage marketing collateral, coordinate events, and optimize CRM to track business development efforts.

Responsibilities

Business Development Support: Collaborate with attorneys to prepare proposals, pitches, and other materials for business development opportunities
Market Intelligence: Conduct research on prospective clients, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and arm attorneys with actionable data before pitch meetings
Pipeline Management & CRM Operations: Assist in the firm-wide implementation and adoption of our CRM; help develop and maintain workflows, track key performance indicators (KPIs), manage the sales pipeline, and ensure data integrity
Marketing Content & Collateral: Draft, edit, and distribute content for the firm's website, blog, social media, and email campaigns. Develop and maintain marketing materials, including practice descriptions, attorney biographies, and case studies
Conference Logistics & Itinerary Management: Manage all aspects of firm-sponsored events, webinars, and conference sponsorships. This specifically includes managing complex itineraries for senior partners attending major industry conferences, securing and scheduling high volumes of 1:1 networking meetings, and coordinating immediate post-conference follow-up calls to maximize ROI
Digital Presence & Website Administration: Serve as a primary administrator for the firm's website (training provided); directly log in to update and publish news, bios, and resources ensuring all information is current. Monitor and report on key metrics using Google Analytics

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
2-4 years of marketing or business development experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment
Proven experience with CRM software (Salesforce, Clio Grow, or similar) and email marketing platforms
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, and Canva (or similar design tools)
Demonstrated proficiency using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) to enhance content creation and workflow efficiency
Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with a strong understanding of AP style
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility to travel for events and firm meetings as needed
