Responsibilities
Collaborate with development engineers to test and validate software releases
Perform system integration, debugging, and root‑cause analysis across networking and embedded environments
Conduct real‑world testing, including vehicle or field testing as needed for project requirements
Review and refine requirements using tools such as Jama/DOORS
Analyze logs, packet traces, and connectivity issues using Linux and networking tools
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including V&V, machine electronics, suppliers, and external engineering partners
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of IP networking fundamentals
Hands-on experience with LTE/5G, bonded cellular, or other connectivity systems
Proficiency in Linux configuration and debugging
Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, iperf, tcpdump, etc
Experience in test plan creation and execution
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Preferred
Knowledge of embedded gateways (e.g., Cradlepoint, Peplink, Sierra)
Experience with Python or Bash scripting for automation
Exposure to V2X, remote-control systems, or autonomy technologies
Understanding of RF concepts, network redundancy, and failover mechanisms
Experience working with safety-critical systems
