Responsibilities

Build Demand Generation Capabilities: Define and deliver demand generation tools that enable restaurant operators to drive consistent bookings, leading product areas across restaurant, consumer, and API surfaces from discovery through launch and iteration
Ground Demand Generation in Restaurant Needs: Partner with design, UXR, strategy, and data teams to continuously learn from restaurant operators, ensuring demand generation solutions address their highest-priority growth and booking challenges
Deliver Communication Channels: Lead product development for SMS, push, and email touchpoints, spanning backend systems and frontend consumer experiences to ensure reliable, preference-aware delivery
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Engineering, Data, Design, Consumer and Restaurant Product, Research, and Compliance teams to define requirements, manage dependencies, and deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions
Apply System-Level Thinking: Develop a strong understanding of system architecture, data flows, APIs, and event-driven systems to inform product decisions and trade-offs
Ensure Operational Excellence: Support smooth launches and ongoing operations by defining success metrics, monitoring performance, and improving the reliability and scalability of demand generation and communication systems
Uphold Security and Compliance: Ensure demand generation and communication capabilities meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements in partnership with American Express stakeholders

Required

3+ years of experience in a Product Management role
Hands-on experience building or contributing to demand generation or growth products such as communications, targeting, experimentation, and data-driven delivery systems
Comfort running continuous discovery and using customer insights and data to guide product decisions and prioritization
Strong product judgment, with the ability to understand complex dependencies, make disciplined prioritization decisions, and drive delivery through complexity
Technically fluent, with experience partnering closely with Engineering and Data teams on system design, data flows, APIs, and performance trade-offs
Clear and effective communicator across technical and non-technical audiences, including presenting work to senior stakeholders
Deeply motivated by hospitality, technology, and delivering differentiated, high-quality experiences

Preferred

Experience in hospitality, dining, travel, or marketplace products
Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven environments, particularly related to consumer data, communications, or privacy
Understanding of loyalty, rewards, or other incentive-driven engagement models
Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, messaging orchestration, or notification systems at scale
