Responsibilities
Processes pre-Epic MGH paper records in the onsite file room
Retrieves record from the MGH onsite file room
Performs data entry of patient demographic information using the Record Management database tool
Performs a quality check on data entry and/or boxes medical records to be sent to office storage
Records daily volume and productivity of work completed on a daily basis
Protects the confidentiality and integrity of patient information at all times
Participates in team meetings reporting any issues to Team Leads and/or Manager
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to regularly climb ladders, lift 25-pound containers of medical records and properly navigate hallways pushing oversized carts loaded with medical records
Large file room/warehouse setting
Organized, detail oriented, and work well in time sensitive situations
Ability to work independently and in a group/team setting
Accountability to comply with policies, procedures and work requirements (e.g. meeting daily productivity)
Preferred
Basic Microsoft Office skills preferred
