Responsibilities
Attend local events, run meetups, and build relationships across the Bay Area developer community
Create demos, sample apps, and starter kits showcasing Apify
Design and deliver workshops, tutorials, and presentations at developer events
Produce technical content: blog posts, tutorials, videos, and more
Build partnerships with other tech companies
Run office hours and mentorship sessions
Collect and synthesize developer feedback to inform product and DX priorities
Track content and engagement performance
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience in Developer Advocacy, Developer Relations, or a similar public-facing developer role
Strong hands-on development experience with JavaScript and/or Python
Deep empathy for developers
Solid experience integrating AI tools and frameworks
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Based in the Bay Area with the ability to attend in-person events and also travel
Self-starter
Preferred
Direct experience with web automation, scraping, or crawling technologies
Prior experience running meetups, workshops or hackathons
Existing local (Bay Area) community connections or partnerships
A portfolio of demos, talks, or tutorials
Prior open source contributor experience
