Responsibilities

Engage in the engineering of secure and scalable virtualized edge computing solutions
Participate in engineering activities including product selection, design, development, deployment, integration, and test of infrastructure platforms
Apply automation tools and technologies to streamline system deployment
Support the interface and integration with different systems, software, and sensors
Support customer and corporate events and exercises to test future capabilities for the warfighter

Required

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, System Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
Administration/Deployment experience with a Linux Operating System (Preferably RHEL6/8 experience)
Minimum of 2 years professional experience supporting development and deployment on Linux platforms
Experience with deployment and configuration of hypervisor platforms (preferably Linux KVM or VMWare)
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, and bash
Experience working in a systems/software engineering environment, using agile tools, automation, and applying best practices
Familiarity and experience with computer/server hardware, components, and peripherals
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance

Preferred

Linux+ or Red Hat Linux (RHSA/RHCE) certification
Experience with Network devices and their configuration
Experience with software containerization
Experience with system hardening and cybersecurity best practices
Excellent communication skills, especially the ability to articulate advanced technical topics to both technical and non-technical staff
DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
