The role involves repairing, maintaining, and improving tools and fixtures, as well as troubleshooting tooling problems and safely operating tool room equipment.

Responsibilities
Repair, maintain and make improvements to all tools and fixtures
Assist in machine repair, change over, set up and operation as required
Safely operate all tool room equipment: Bridgeport mill, lathe, surface grinder, etc
Assemble and disassemble tooling, dies and gauges
Troubleshoot and resolve tooling problems
Work with various materials such as tool steels, plastics, aluminum, and copper
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); journeyman's certification and/or equivalent experience
Demonstrate ability to use all hand measurement tools and to read and interpret tooling drawings
Must have or acquire personal tools to perform job assignment
