Senior LevelImpulse Space is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer (Software) who will be responsible for creating test plans and ensuring the execution of tests. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure software reliability in both ideal and challenging conditions.

Creating test plans for software
Helping build software test architectures and tooling
Writing test cases
Ensuring the execution of the tests
Planning test scenarios to run in simulation
Planning test scenarios on hardware-in-the-loop setups
Collaborate with the GNC, Flight Software, and Embedded Software teams to close the gap between rapid development and mission-critical reliability
Help ensure that software behaves correctly not just in ideal conditions, but in edge cases, fault scenarios, and real hardware configurations that are difficult to reproduce
Qualification
Required
Experience in creating test plans for software
Ability to build software test architectures and tooling
Proficiency in writing test cases
Experience in executing tests
Ability to plan test scenarios for simulation and hardware-in-the-loop setups
Collaboration skills with GNC, Flight Software, and Embedded Software teams
Experience in ensuring software reliability in edge cases and fault scenarios
Ability to work with real hardware configurations
