PROJECT MANAGER MARITIME CAPITAL PROJECTS

They are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager for Maritime Capital Projects to coordinate and oversee various project responsibilities while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Serve as point of contact and coordinate with Port Program Manager, project sponsors, and stakeholders
Provide weekly and quarterly project reporting on scope, schedule, budget, status, and risks
Review and manage project costs, budget, estimate at completion, and schedule with project controls
Prepare Project Notebooks, Project Definition Documents, and Commission authorization memorandums
Maintain project records on SharePoint consistent with Port filing structure
Oversee design consultants, lead design team meetings, and ensure design quality
Coordinate site investigations including safety plan preparation
Receive and review design submittals for completeness, quality, and accuracy
Coordinate CAD review in accordance with Port standards
Manage permitting document submittal and review with authorities having jurisdiction
Oversee design consultant responses to RFIs and submittal reviews
Attend weekly construction progress meetings
Coordinate design bulletins and as-built record completion
Complete all required project-related documentation per Port project delivery processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
Experience with Port of Seattle or other port authority projects
Experience with IDIQ/on-call contract delivery models
Knowledge of maritime facility operations and security requirements
Experience with environmental and sustainability planning initiatives
Familiarity with Commission authorization processes and public agency procedures

Preferred
PMP, CCM, or equivalent project management certification
Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools
Experience with project controls including budget management, cost forecasting, and cash flow reporting
Familiarity with CAD standards review processes
Strong document control and records management capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and Commission presentations
Ability to manage multiple concurrent Service Directives of varying size and complexity
Demonstrated flexibility and responsiveness in on-call contract environments
Quality assurance/quality control mindset
Risk identification and management capabilities
Collaborative approach working with design teams, contractors, and Port staff
