Business Litigation Legal Assistant
GHJ is a prominent national accounting and advisory firm, and they are seeking a Business Litigation Legal Assistant to join their litigation support team. The role requires an experienced legal assistant with a strong knowledge of federal and state court filing rules, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Support multiple attorneys and teams across a busy practice
Manage calendaring accurately and efficiently
Assist with daily overflow work, administrative responsibilities, and special projects as needed
Help coordinate and maintain effective office procedures and workflow
Follow firm policies and processes
Build productive working relationships with attorneys, staff, clients, vendors, and visitors
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five years of business litigation experience
Strong working knowledge of both federal and state court filing rules and procedures
Hands-on experience with e-filing
Solid understanding of the full litigation life cycle
Excellent proofreading and writing skills
High level of attention to detail
Ability to manage calendaring accurately and efficiently
Strong computer skills, including experience with Word, Outlook, and iManage or a comparable document management system
Comfortable multitasking and staying organized under pressure
Ability to assist with daily overflow work, administrative responsibilities, and special projects as needed
Strong communication skills
Collaborative, positive, and highly organized professional
Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to work
Ability to move tasks forward independently
Help coordinate and maintain effective office procedures and workflow
Follow firm policies and processes
Build productive working relationships with attorneys, staff, clients, vendors, and visitors
Preferred
Exposure to transactional work
Familiarity with tools such as CompuLaw, Best Authority, Adobe Pro, Comparite, and CCC Macros
