Responsibilities
Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining food production equipment (servo motors, drives, belts, conveyors, refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing/water, HVAC)
Performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep lines running efficiently and safely
Diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues using meters, schematics, and OEM manuals; documenting work in CMMS
Supporting equipment changeovers and calibrations; ensuring compliance with GMP, food safety, and plant safety standards
Collaborating with production to prioritize urgent repairs; coordinating with vendors/OEMs for parts and technical support
Qualification
Required
Technical degree OR 5+ years maintaining food production equipment
Hands-on expertise with servo systems, drives, belts, conveyors, refrigeration, electrical, water/plumbing, and HVAC in a food manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills; ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools safely
Knowledge of GMP, food safety practices (e.g., HACCP basics), lockout/tagout, and industrial safety procedures
Proven reliability mindset-PM execution, root cause analysis, and accurate maintenance documentation in CMMS
Effective communication and teamwork with production, QA, and vendors; willingness to support off-hours or urgent repairs when needed
You must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa
