Responsibilities
Lead and consult on complex software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact
Analyze and resolve multi-faceted engineering problems that require evaluation of technical, operational, and non-standard factors
Design, build, and maintain automation solutions using Python and shell scripting across multiple environments
Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation
Build, deploy, and operate containerized applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift, including persistent storage and observability solutions
Support hybrid and cloud-based environments, including integrations with AWS and Azure
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business requirements, policies, and compliance standards
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience demonstrated through work, consulting, training, military service, or education
Advanced proficiency in Python for automation and systems engineering
Strong experience with shell scripting for Linux-based, system-level tasks
Experience working in Linux environments and automating infrastructure at scale
Hands-on experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift
Experience supporting cloud or hybrid-cloud environments and enterprise-scale deployments
Preferred
Experience designing and maintaining JVM-based system structures across environments
Familiarity with observability, monitoring, and logging tools in containerized systems
Strong communication skills and experience partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders
