Responsibilities
We are seeking a 12‑month contract assembler to build electro-mechanical sub‑assemblies
The role requires reading technical drawings and blueprints, installing hardware stack‑ups, proficiency in hand tools, and moving materials efficiently while following safety and quality procedures
It also requires simple wiring within these mechanical assemblies, and limited work with electronic components
Within the first 30 days the contractor will learn standard processes and assist teammates; by 60 days they will fabricate sub‑assemblies, suggest design updates, and apply continuous‑improvement methods (6S/PMT); by 120 days they will perform adequate workmanship, rework as needed, and identify process efficiencies
Behavioral expectations include punctual attendance, active participation in team meetings, clear communication, respect, integrity, and adherence to safety rules
Successful completion of the technical milestones (30/60/120 days) and satisfactory behavioral performance (90 days) will lead to conversion to a full‑time employee
Qualification
Required
12-month contract assembler experience
Ability to build electro-mechanical sub-assemblies
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
Proficiency in hand tools
Ability to move materials efficiently while following safety and quality procedures
Experience with simple wiring within mechanical assemblies
Limited work with electronic components
Punctual attendance
Active participation in team meetings
Clear communication
Respect and integrity
Adherence to safety rules
Successful completion of technical milestones (30/60/120 days)
