Digital Operations Manager
Leonine Forum is dedicated to cultivating Catholic professionals for virtuous leadership. The Digital Operations Manager will oversee the administration of the organization's relational database and establish best practices for data management while supporting development and operations with accurate data and scalable processes.
Responsibilities
Become an expert in Leonine’s CRM (Airtable) and Tech Stack:
Research, evaluate, and recommend suitable technology platforms based on organizational objectives (Airtable, SurveyMonkey Apply, eTapestry, LinkedIn, etc) and oversee their integration and utilization to meet current and future needs of the organization
Run, maintain, and improve current and future database systems for integrity, functionality, and optimization —supporting development, operations, and leadership with accurate data, actionable reporting, data security and scalable processes
Oversee data management of the Fellows, including supporting the Director of Operations (DO) with the application process for First-Year Fellows
Support Events & Communications Manager (ECM) in tracking engagement and stakeholder participation at LF-sponsored events, and implementing optimal communication workflows
Own the backend processes supporting Development, Events, and Operations:
Be the go-to person on the team for all questions related to Leonine’s marketing tools and platforms
Maintain data integrity through consistent data standards, deduplication, validation rules, and ongoing hygiene processes
Serve as direct support to in facilitating event management and long-term Fellow engagement, including: up-to-date contact information, new job placements, current resumes, Leonine event engagement and survey responses, giving history, media appearances, and interest in new projects
Manage the back-end systems for ticketing, scheduling, check-in processes, reporting, etc. for Leonine’s large regional and national events
Define and track core metrics for organizational success (applications pipeline, cohort engagement, NPS)
Define and track key fundraising metrics, including acquisition, retention, upgrade, and donor lifecycle performance
Build and maintain standard and ad hoc reports for Development leadership, executives, and the Board
Support forecasting, pipeline reporting, and campaign analysis
Support pre- and post-event survey feedback
Qualification
Required
A self-motivated problem-solver and puzzle-lover with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and with minimal supervision
Big-picture thinker with a jeweler's eye for detail - the DOM must be able to bear in mind the big picture of Leonine's strategy while churning through the everyday details of non-profit life
Highly trustworthy - the job requires total discretion when managing all data related to Fellows, benefactors, etc
Excellent communication, time management, and decision-making skills; comprehension to translate team needs into actionable solutions; train non-technical teammates
Proven experience in project management and interested in working on systems design, developing knowledge of the best use and integration of digital technologies
Ability to learn alongside legacy employees while bringing new ideas to a growing team
Bachelor's degree, with preference for Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (equivalent work experience accepted)
3-7 years of hands-on experience in project management and/or systems administration. Direct experience in Airtable is a huge plus
Preferred
Preference for a candidate who is based in one of Leonine's chapter cities (Washington DC, New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas)
