The Park Manager 1 will oversee park operations, manage staff, and implement strategic management plans to protect and preserve Tennessee's natural and cultural resources.

Responsibilities
Protect, Preserve, and Interpret the story of the Cherokee Removal Memorial Site along the Trail of Tears
Serve as a Commissioned Officer, providing and maintaining park safety and security, including law enforcement and basic first aid
Manage full time staff members and job share positions and support growth and development through the performance management cycle
Oversee and implement the Park Strategic Management Plan and uphold a set annual budget
Work closely with staff to maintain/oversee all park operations, including managing multiple capital and park improvement projects
Provide oversight for all operations and amenities within the park that generates revenue
Support community outreach programs and foster partnerships with neighboring agencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in natural resources, forestry, wildlife biology, history, anthropology, archeology, or a related field
Five or more years of cultural or natural resource management experience
State commissioned officer recognized by the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy or willingness to become commissioned
