Responsibilities
Manage multiple cross-functional infrastructure and security projects from start to finish under minimal supervision
Partner with infrastructure leadership to define, maintain, and uphold project scope, objectives, and deliverables
Coordinate with infrastructure vendors to manage schedules, resolve blockers, and ensure alignment to project deliverables, SOWs, timelines, and invoicing
Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, technical documentation, diagrams, and artifacts using tools such as Visio and PowerPoint
Lead project governance through regular status meetings, stand-ups, reviews, and reporting
Organize and facilitate project status updates, executive presentations, risk reviews, workshops, and training sessions
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules; track progress and manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost
Identify, document, and manage risks, issues, actions, and decisions while understanding cross-functional and end-to-end impacts
Deliver projects within approved budgets; forecast financials and communicate variances to sponsors and leadership
Work closely with financial analysts to validate project financials, forecasts, accruals, and reclassifications
Serve as a role model for project management best practices and enforce consistent use across project teams
Ensure frequent, clear, and professional communication with all stakeholders
Lead strategic meetings and distribute meeting minutes with clear follow-up actions
Understand and apply GRC concepts as applicable to infrastructure initiatives
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience managing multiple infrastructure and security projects
Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across multiple functional workstreams
Proven success leading implementation projects with shared responsibilities across multiple system integrators
Experience managing infrastructure and security projects that may be business-facing
Prior background as a network, server, telecom engineer, or infrastructure coordinator strongly preferred
Strong technical writing experience, including creation of diagrams and technical documentation
Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, cost, and schedule (triple constraints)
Beginner to Intermediate understanding of cybersecurity concepts
Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented and process-driven
Ability to identify and document risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
Calm, collaborative, and effective under pressure in dynamic environments
Comfortable shifting between strategic (“big picture”) thinking and detailed execution
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
Experience in an Information Technology environment
Energy industry experience (preferred)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Master's degree (a plus)
