Responsibilities
Designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments
Owning containerisation and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker
Building and optimising CI/CD pipelines and internal developer tooling
Writing production-grade code to automate infrastructure, workflows, and platform operations
Supporting high-performance simulation, analysis, and internal engineering platforms
Improving system reliability, monitoring, and observability as the platform scales
Qualification
Required
Strong background in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering at a senior level
Ability to code confidently, ideally in Python or Go, with an engineering-first mindset
Experience building tools, not just configuring services
Deep understanding of Linux systems and modern infrastructure practices
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, low-process environment where you may wear multiple hats
Preferred
Background in highly technical or engineering-led organisations
Experience supporting compute-heavy workloads or simulation environments
Exposure to regulated or safety-critical industries
Interest in physics, hardware, or complex systems
