1+ years expMcGregor Homes is seeking a skilled Architectural Drafter to join their incredible team. In this role, you will create custom floor plans for luxury homes, collaborate with a team, and ensure accuracy in technical documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities
Create new plans and designs/edit existing plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD, ChiefArchitect, Softplan or Revit
Collaborate with our team to understand project requirements and specifications
Prepare accurate schematics, details, elevations and potentially take-offs based on project needs
Review and revise drawings as necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and design preferences
Incorporate changes and modifications into existing drawings as directed by the team
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and reports
Maintain organized files and records of all drawings and related documents
Site visits to confirm accuracy of progress in the field
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Chief Architect, Softplan or Revit
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and techniques
Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical specifications
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
