Responsibilities
Work closely with feature teams to identify risks and anticipate problems to ensure that each release does not negatively impact performance
Dig into the code to determine performance bottlenecks and make the improvement
Design, configure, automate, and execute performance tests
Improve the performance environment with your own code, automation, and onboarding of external tools (i.e. Dynatrace and Splunk)
Work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
C & C++ (experience developing while responsible for memory management/how the data is transmitted)
Java is fine if they have history with working with C and C++
SAFe Experience
TDD is a big plus
Paired programming experience is a big plus
Passion for solving complex technical challenges
Experience developing software – preferably in C/C++
Experience in Linux environments
Experience creating scripts to automate manual tasks (i.e. shell script, TCL, Perl, Python)
Understanding of throughput, latency, memory and CPU utilization
Experience and preference for working in an Agile environment
