This fully remote role involves preparing and reviewing statutory financial statements and supporting regulatory filings, with quarterly travel to Florida for team collaboration.

Responsibilities
Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with NAIC requirements
Assist with quarterly and annual statutory filings, including schedules and disclosures
Support state insurance department filings and respond to regulatory inquiries
Partner with auditors during statutory audits and examinations
Collaborate with internal teams on accounting policy, controls, and process improvements
Assist with special projects related to growth, reporting enhancements, and automation
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of accounting experience
Exposure to statutory accounting and reporting (hands-on or through audit)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred
Public accounting experience (Big 4 or national/regional firm) strongly considered
Industry experience with a P&C or homeowners insurance carrier
CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred
