Responsibilities
Lead the design and prototyping of end-to-end user experiences, focusing on AI-driven solutions across multiple M365 products and platforms
Define experience frameworks and design systems that scale across screens, scenarios, and user needs
Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and research teams to deliver high-quality, user-centered outcomes
Navigate ambiguity and shifting requirements with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Drive asynchronous and cross-time zone collaboration using tools and processes that promote visibility and feedback
Share early work visually and iteratively to generate clarity and build momentum
Help mentor and support other designers, setting a high bar for craft, innovation, and user advocacy
Champion the value of design throughout the organization
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service design
OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service design
OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)
Preferred
Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service design
OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 12+ years experience working in product or service design
OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems)
6+ years experience shipping products, services, or games and/or delivering to customers as a result of an end-to-end design process
6+ years of professional experience in UX/product design, with a portfolio demonstrating complex end-to-end product thinking
Proven ability to lead cross-functional design efforts independently and collaboratively
Deep knowledge of interaction design, visual design, and systems thinking
Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platforms
Demonstrated ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and handle multiple workstreams in parallel
Solid end-to-end problem-solving skills and experience working on large-scale product development
Experience designing with or for AI and large language models (LLMs)
Familiarity with enterprise or productivity software and search experience design
