Responsibilities
Work closely with Spirit leadership (in particular the General Manager) to drive business strategy including growth, acquisition, and community engagement
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business segments including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
Develop and implement associate health and wellness, 401k, and other key benefits
Assist in the development and implementation of new back-office software and services
Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements
Develop internal controls to ensure sound accounting principles are implemented and regulatory requirements are exceeded
Monitor and manage cash flow
Supervise and develop support staff and/or manage external accounting related services
Ensure tax compliance and timely reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
3 years of related professional experience that includes 2 years of supervisory experience
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills with a growth mindset
Excellent accounting skills with knowledge of key financial software and technology platforms needed to grow the business responsibly and effectively
Thorough understanding of LLCs and associated financial, tax, and business planning
Team first individual that will enhance the Spirit Express culture of success
