Responsibilities
Lead credit, billing, collections, and cash application operations for a premier, award-winning specialty distributor serving diverse industrial and technology sectors
Drive strategic credit policies, aggressive DSO/cash flow improvements, cutting-edge automation, and disciplined risk management across a high-volume, multi-continent portfolio
Oversee a talented team of ~30+ professionals (including offshore resources), mentor regional and leaders, and collaborate with executives to accelerate sales growth while safeguarding receivables
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in accounts receivable management, including credit and collections
Proven ability to lead and mentor large teams, including cross-functional and offshore resources
Strong knowledge of billing functions, cash applications, and accounts receivable aging analysis
Expertise in implementing automation and process improvements in a high-volume environment
Exceptional skills in risk assessment and credit policy development
Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations related to credit and collections
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage with executives and stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
