Workforce Education & Engagement Intern
City of Seattle is one of the nation’s largest municipally owned utilities, recognized for its commitment to energy efficiency and environmental stewardship. The Workforce Education & Engagement Intern will assist with project-based employee engagement and training initiatives, contributing to the goals of the People and Culture business unit.

Responsibilities
Co-create and support WEE programs, events, and services
Compile and analyze data to make recommendations on the employee experience
Support communications activities related to the human resources field
Engage with stakeholders and customers to understand program needs
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an accredited certificate, 2-year or 4-year undergraduate educational program during their internship
Undergraduate students will need to maintain a 2.0 GPA or above throughout the internship
Preferred
Enrolled in an academic program with focus on Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Affairs, Sociology, Human Services or related field
Curiosity and growth mindset
Ability to work with a team and independently
Excellent time management
Results driven
Willingness to learn and use new technology
Are a sophomore, junior, or senior at the start of the internship
Benefits
Interns do not receive benefits but can obtain a subsidized ORCA pass and accrue sick time that can be used after 90 days of employment.
