Responsibilities
Assist in the creation and communication of macroeconomic views that shape investment decisions
Produce well-researched analysis and translate macro insights into actionable ideas
Analysis of economic data releases for both domestic and global markets
Examination of industry databases and publications
Completion of extraordinary information and data requests
Creation and maintenance of detailed financial macro models
Communication of recommendations to internal and external clients
Participation in site visits and management meetings
Qualification
Required
A combination of exceptional writing skills, technical knowledge and skills in macro, equity research, finance or accounting demonstrated through relevant work and educational experience is required
Candidates must have a clear and proven track record of achievement throughout their education and career
An understanding of the relationship between macroeconomic variables and asset class performance
Solid technology skills with robust knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, FactSet, Bloomberg
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
A keen interest in Equity Research
Strong understanding of financial markets and economics
Well-versed in economic indicators, equity markets, fixed-income markets, and international markets
Ability to deliver concise and time-sensitive analysis
A positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, the ability to learn quickly and strong attention to detail
Superior work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Ability to systematically manage a heavy workload and meet stringent deadlines
Flexibility to work irregular or extended hours
3 - 5 years of relevant experience and a degree in a related field of study
Preferred
Prior industry experience in investment strategy is not required but could be a benefit
MBA, CPA/CA and/or CFA certification is a plus
U.S. only: Series 7, 63, 86, and 87 licenses are a plus
