Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders to define project objectives, desired outcomes, scope, timelines, and success measures, including cost-benefits impact analyses
Lead requirements gathering and analysis efforts by eliciting, documenting, and validating business, functional, and system requirements across complex initiatives
Analyze current-state business processes and workflows; identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities; and define future-state processes, solution designs, and implementation approaches
Translate business problems into logical process flows, models, and documentation to support solution design, prioritization, and decision-making; consult on design solutions and functionality decisions
Facilitate discussions with cross functional teams to align stakeholders, evaluate solution options, and develop a plan to provide cost and resource estimates for projects
Utilize system tools (ex. configuration editors, report generators, etc.) to support issue resolution, application enhancements and/or support evolving business needs
Coordinate research, analysis, and evaluation activities to support project planning, cost modeling, and readiness for implementation
Assist with product discovery workshops and brainstorming sessions to gather business requirements and drive cross-functional alignment when beginning new projects
Review and validate project deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with defined requirements and quality standards
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior analysts, supporting skill development in requirements analysis, process design, stakeholder engagement, and professional growth
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is required
Minimum 6 years' experience in business analysis, including defining strategic objectives, gathering and documenting requirements, and translating business needs into functional and system requirements required
Previous experience facilitating meetings, workshops, and discussions with diverse stakeholders and managing competing priorities required
Preferred
Previous project management or project coordination experience preferred
Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA) preferred
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) preferred
Other relevant certifications (Six Sigma, PMP, etc.). preferred
