Crossfire Consulting is seeking a Customer Operations / Data Entry professional to support customers and utilities through accurate data entry and request management. The role involves handling customer inquiries, payment and billing escalations, and onboarding tasks while meeting productivity metrics.

Responsibilities
Enter, review, and maintain accurate customer and utility data across internal systems
Manage and prioritize incoming customer requests, including billing questions and payment escalations
Conduct outreach to utility partners as needed
Audit work for accuracy and identify issues or trends
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and suggest process improvements
Meet weekly metrics and deadlines to ensure timely customer onboarding
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with a record of academic achievement (or equivalent work experience)
1-3 years of work experience, ideally in customer service, operations, or a detail-oriented role
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive data-entry tasks accurately
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work under deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with a team
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (working with spreadsheets and templates)
Comfortable using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to work across multiple systems and applications at the same time
Preferred
Previous customer care or operations experience
Utility industry experience (not required; training provided)
