Hands-on engagement in the built environment
Integrate field investigation, problem solving, and construction document development into structural engineering practice
Develop construction documents for buildings
Perform code-compliant structural calculations
Work collaboratively across multiple offices and remote working environments
Interact effectively with clients and project team members outside of the firm
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 4+ years relevant experience
California Civil Engineering licensing
Must have a background related to structural engineering and/or construction
Demonstrated ability to develop Construction Documents for buildings, perform Code-compliant structural calculations, to work collaboratively across multiple offices and remote working environments, and to interact effectively with clients and project team members outside of the firm is desired
Strong working knowledge of residential and commercial building types, as well as CAD/BIM platforms, is desired
Preferred
Experience in the field and the ability to conduct site investigations across a broad geographic range is a plus
Active participation in professional or client-based activities is a plus
