Responsibilities

Design test systems including Test Consoles and Interface Test Adapters (ITA)
Develop Test Equipment System Requirements (TE SRR), Test Equipment Design (TE PDR/CDR), and Test Equipment Validation Procedures/Reports
Ability to use various laboratory equipment (e.g. power supplies, multimeters, and oscilloscopes) and automate testing utilizing said equipment
Troubleshoot, debug, and diagnose issues with test equipment systems and determine root cause and corrective actions (RCCA)
Perform and complete SDRLs and other documents regarding Test Plans/Procedures, Validation Plans/Procedures, and other related engineering deliverables
Work with outside vendors and suppliers

Required

B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar is required
Experience in Test Engineering / Test Equipment design for power electronics system testing
Experience designing test systems utilizing a Test Console and Interface Test Adapter (ITA)
Must be a US Citizen
Test equipment hardware selection. Electrical schematic generation. EEE parts selection
Software: OrCAD, LT Spice, MS Visio, MS Office
Programming Languages: C#, LabView, MS SQL
Data/Communication Types: Analog I/O, Digital I/O, IEEE-488, I²C, SPI, USB, CAN, RS-485/422/232, Serial, TCP/IP, J-TAG

Project planning, monitoring, and reporting
Experience in PCB layout and routing
Software: C#, LabVIEW
