Information Technology Intern (Summer 2026)
The N.C. Department of Information Technology is seeking a Summer Intern for 2026. The role will provide the intern with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT support, including troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Gain hands-on experience in endpoint support, server management, and data center operations
Learn to troubleshoot technical issues, implement IT solutions, and assist in maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure while developing a strong understanding of IT support processes and best practices
Deliver fast, friendly, and effective technical support that minimizes downtime and improves the overall user experience
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled in college or a recent college graduate
Must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree (or a recent graduate) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

Applicants seeking National Guard Preference: A current member of the North Carolina National Guard in good standing must attach a NGB 23A (RPAS).
