Responsibilities
Manage all phases of MEP construction projects, from kickoff to closeout
Build and maintain project schedules, milestones, and resource plans
Work directly with field teams to drive execution in a self-perform environment
Identify project risks early and implement corrective actions
Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle
Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets
Track labor, material, and equipment costs; implement proactive cost controls
Manage contracts, commercial terms, and vendor/subcontractor agreements
Prepare project performance reports for leadership and clients
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
Communicate schedule, deliverables, and changes clearly and proactively
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to maintain alignment
Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional project teams, including project controls, estimating, purchasing, safety, quality, and engineering
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
Support career development for junior and mid-level team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of project management experience in commercial, light industrial, or MEP construction
Proven track record delivering complex mechanical, electrical, or plumbing projects
Proficient in project management software (Primavera, Procore, MS Project, or similar)
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams
