Responsibilities
Research local, regional, and national market conditions to identify potential sales opportunities for products and services
Forecast and monitor marketing and sales trends by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data
Conduct consumer and market research in collaboration with marketing professionals, statisticians, pollsters, and other stakeholders
Design, evaluate, and implement data collection methodologies such as surveys, opinion polls, and questionnaires, or source existing market data
Analyze competitor pricing, sales performance, and marketing and distribution strategies
Measure and assess the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communication programs
Develop and implement procedures to identify advertising needs and optimize campaign performance
Lead and oversee trained survey interviewers to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
Qualification
Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently while effectively managing time, priorities, and deadlines
In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, product promotion, and sales methodologies
Understanding of media production, communication strategies, and information dissemination techniques
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent training
8–10 years of relevant professional experience in marketing or market research roles
