Responsibilities
Design fixturing to support welding, machining, testing, and assembly operations
Generate drawings and bills of materials, purchase components, and assemble and test designed fixtures
Fabricate custom parts to support operations using equipment such as a drill press or shear
Investigate and purchase tools and equipment
Analyze manufacturing areas for process improvements such as part design changes, fixturing needs, layout changes, and work instruction updates
Support prototype builds for new product development
Additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2.5 GPA (must be on resume)
Major studies in: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering
3D solid modeling experience, PTC Creo preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred
Familiarity with machining and metal fabrication processes
