Responsibilities
Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from design through delivery
Perform and oversee design development for fire protection (performance specifications), plumbing, mechanical, and piping systems
Conduct and quality review of project deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards (approximately 50% of workload)
Perform process, piping, and HVAC design work (approximately 50% of workload)
Define project requirements, scope, budgets, and staffing in coordination with Project Managers
Develop detailed engineering studies, reports, and schematic designs for new and existing systems
Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering professional development within the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
6+ years within the consulting or construction industry
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and central utility systems (including steam)
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
