Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair power and security systems in compliance with NEC, Department of State regulations, and contract requirements
Install and dress electrical panels, terminate branch and feeder circuits, and pull and route conductors by hand as required
Utilize expertise in conduit installation, including EMT and RGS, to support wiring and integration of security system components
Demonstrate proficiency in conduit bending, accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping conduit per project specifications and electrical drawings
Operate power tools and equipment, including drills, saws, and conduit benders, safely and efficiently
Operate man lifts and other aerial equipment to access installation locations at varying heights
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings to plan and execute installations accurately and efficiently
Serve as a subject matter expert and lead on projects, providing technical guidance, assisting the Installation Manager in organizing and sequencing work assignments, and ensuring efficient workflow
Assist with quality checks on electricians’ work to ensure compliance with codes and maintain high standards
Maintain professionalism when working in U.S. government facilities overseas, ensuring effective communication with team members, clients, and project managers
Adhere to all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for oneself and the team

Required

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the electrical field, security system experience preferred
Secret security clearance required; ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance
Valid journeyman or master electrician license required
Proficiency in electrical installations, conduit techniques, and use of power tools and equipment
Proven ability to serve as a technical lead, providing guidance and support to electricians
Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication
Professional demeanor, particularly when working in sensitive government facilities
