Responsibilities
Evaluate data and develop analytical approaches to support cost estimation, financial modeling, and program assessment
Help shape data-driven strategies using methods such as statistical analysis, cost-benefit analysis, lifecycle cost estimation, and what-if scenario modeling to deliver actionable insights
Work with cross-functional teams consisting of technical experts, acquisition professionals, and industry experts to analyze and interpret programmatic and cost data
Develop cohesive presentations to communicate findings, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to program meetings that inform acquisition and budgeting decisions
Use analytic expertise and understanding of cost principles to apply modeling and measurement techniques to evaluate system affordability, readiness, and risk
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience performing detailed cost estimation, analysis, or forecasting
Experience developing and evaluating metrics and data trends over a defense acquisition program lifecycle
Experience in collecting and analyzing cost and technical data to develop functional cost models
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and Schedule Analysis
Ability to work in a classified environment
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Economics, Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field
Preferred
Experience supporting Navy Acquisition Program Offices
Experience in risk and uncertainty analysis
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) Supplemental
Possession of excellent communication and presentation skills
Master's degree in Research, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Business
Defense Acquisition University Business - Cost Estimating or PMP Certification
Certified Cost Estimator Analyst (CCEA) or Professional Cost Estimator Analyst (PCEA) Certification
