Merit Consulting Group Inc is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst to join their Finance Technology organization, responsible for developing and maintaining OneStream and other financial applications that support firm-wide Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The role involves collaborating with Finance partners to enhance financial SaaS applications and contributing to the modernization and expansion of FP&A platforms as part of an agile product team.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and support Finance technology systems supporting FP&A
Configure and maintain Financial SaaS applications to meet evolving business requirements
Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous product improvement
Ensure high-quality code through testing, code reviews, and best development practices
Support system performance, stability, and scalability across financial platforms

Required

Strong experience with Financial SaaS applications (required)
Hands-on development experience with .NET (required)
Hands-on development experience with Java / J2EE (required)
Experience with JavaScript, SQL/Query languages, HTML, and CSS
Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring REST, Spring Batch)
Experience with OneStream and Apptio
Working knowledge of DB2 and/or Oracle databases
Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, Cypress, Jest, or Jasmine
Experience using GitHub or similar version control systems

Preferred

Knowledge of data cubes and multidimensional data models
Prior experience supporting FP&A or enterprise finance systems
