Responsibilities
Implements airplane modifications per engineering drawings to support instrumentation installation, inspect, troubleshoot, test, and repair Instrumentation systems, including Sensors, Data Acquisition Systems
Experience using test instruments such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Voltage/Resistance substitute standards
Performs sensor’s calibrations, and maintains records
Diagnose and repair defective components using technical documentation such as blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Demonstrate expertise in wiring practices, modifications, and terminations
Perform pre- and post-flight checks of the aircraft Data Acquisition System
Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining compliance with company policies and safety standards
Keep work areas clean and organized
Must be able to travel as required up to 50%
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft wiring installation, repair, and Instrumentation
A&P or related certification highly desirable; may be required for certain roles
Experience using test instruments such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, Voltage/Resistance substitute standards
Demonstrate expertise in wiring practices, modifications, and terminations
Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
Strong communication and computer proficiency; familiarity with Teamcenter is a plus
Flexible with schedules and overtime; capable of working independently and prioritizing tasks
Solid understanding of aircraft systems
Must be able to travel as required up to 50%
Lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs
Work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions; stand for up to 10 hours and climb ladders
Perform tasks in confined spaces or awkward positions
Follow management and safety instructions without restrictions
