They are seeking a Controller for their Client Accounting and Advisory Service (CAAS) focused on the Retail and Franchise group, responsible for transforming client businesses and managing key client relationships.

Education Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree
CPA certification is preferred but not required
6 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller. Experience in accounting for retail or restaurant franchise strongly preferred
Public accounting experience preferred but not required
Proficiency with applicable software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc)
Travel: This position requires frequent local travel to/from client sites and may require occasional non-local or overnight travel for client visits, training, meetings and/or other business-related purposes
An understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (FASB/SFAS) or other comprehensive basis of accounting
Strong organization skills/goal orientation/self-motivation
Ability to handle pressure in a positive professional manner
Excellent interpersonal skills
Communication that is clear, concise, and considerate of the needs of others
Ability to work cooperatively with others and value the different contributions people make
Proven success in managing work and key client relationships to exceed client expectations
