Configuration Manager (CM) Analyst lvl 4 - SFR Contract
Amentum is seeking a Configuration Manager Analyst lvl 4 for the Space Force Range Contract. The role involves implementing hardware and software Configuration and Data Management activities to meet program contractual requirements, ensuring adherence to change management processes, and leading a team of analysts in configuration and data management tasks.

Responsibilities
Provides CMDM support and guidance to Integrated Product Team, e.g., Program Management, Engineering, Cybersecurity, etc., from project start to completion
Ensure that existing change management and change control processes are strictly enforced throughout the development life cycle
Writes and/or reviews all software and hardware change requests submitted for approval to ensure completeness and compliance to specific guidelines and industry best practices
Analyzes product design changes identified in drawings, SW and HW specifications, SW version descriptions and installation instructions, test plans and procedures, technical orders, etc., to determine the effect on the overall product’s baseline and recommend changes as required
Leads and provides work assignments to analysts in the areas of configuration and data management, configuration control boards, HWSW verification and software sustainment
Prepares Rough Order of Magnitude or Basis of Estimates in support CMDM support and deliverables
Trains/mentors analysts in all phases of Engineering project development and required tools and skills to produce project deliverables
Supports the development, delivery, and customer review of program documentation/data deliverables and status accounting updates
Perform other duties related to providing configuration control for sustainment engineering
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business administration or management; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Eight (8) or more years' direct experience in a Sustaining or Development Engineering environment
Extensive experience with engineering documentation, product structures, and change request/order management in a Configuration/Data Management environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, e.g., Word and Excel
Some extended standing, and/or travel to local and remote sites
The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred
Working knowledge of materials, components, assemblies, computer, and peripheral hardware designs (parts)
Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, e.g., Windchill or equivalent
