Responsibilities

Perform in-depth analysis of financial and regulatory data requirements
Assess existing data sources and reporting processes against regulatory requirements
Conduct gap analysis to identify data deficiencies, inconsistencies, and process inefficiencies
Document data requirements, gaps, assumptions, and dependencies
Partner with Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Technology, and Business stakeholders to:
Validate requirements
Confirm data availability and quality
Align on remediation approaches
Assess, improve, and redesign regulatory control and reporting processes
Translate regulatory, accounting, and operational needs into actionable data and reporting requirements
Support automation, reporting optimization, and data modernization initiatives
Present findings, gaps, and recommendations through clear documentation and presentations
Operate effectively in a high-visibility, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Required

Must submit a Business Analyst with experience in data requirements and process improvements
6–10 years of experience required
Ability to work independently and autonomously
Strong expertise in business analysis, data analysis, and process improvement
Proven experience with data requirements analysis and gap analysis in financial and/or regulatory reporting
Strong understanding of financial services data, including: General Ledger and finance processes, Regulatory reporting, US GAAP and/or IFRS
Ability to analyze large, complex datasets
High attention to detail with strong documentation skills
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience collaborating across Finance, Technology, and Regulatory teams
Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
6+ years of experience in financial services, regulatory reporting, finance transformation, or related consulting roles
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Technology, or a related field

Preferred

Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements (U.S. preferred)
