The Global Sales Strategy and Operations Senior Manager will define the sales strategy and operating model for the business, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer needs while leading the Business Development team's efforts.

Responsibilities

Develop and lead the global BD operating model (roles, stages, handoffs, standard processes) and ensure consistent application across regions
Define and continuously refine the global sales & BD strategy: priority markets, customer segments, and focus areas, based on market and internal performance insights
Own the territory planning framework and cycles: principles, annual/quarterly design and rebalance
Co-lead Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) design for BD and Sales with Finance and HR, including KPIs, mechanics, and effectiveness reviews
Use data analytics to evaluate markets, market performance, BD productivity, SIP, and demand signals; run scenarios and make clear strategic recommendations
Translate strategic recommendations into specific actions for regions and supporting functions (forecasting, CRM, enablement) and track impact

Qualification

Required

7–10+ years in Sales, Sales Strategy/Operations, Commercial or Corporate Strategy, or similar analytical GTM roles
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent undergraduate qualification) - Engineering, Economics, Natural Sciences, or related analytical fields preferred
Strong quantitative skills and comfort building and interpreting models that support strategic decisions
Ability to move comfortably between deep analysis and executive-level storytelling - you can build the model, then explain it simply and drive alignment

Preferred

Background in energy, infrastructure, or other complex B2B solution businesses is a strong plus, especially roles involving investment cases, commercialization, or portfolio strategy
Strategic thinking and structured problem-solving
Strong quantitative modeling capabilities
Skilled in facilitation and change leadership
