Senior Technical Lead

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and delivery oversight across multiple product and development teams (supporting ~40 engineers)
Act as a hands-on lead engineer, contributing to design, development, code reviews, and technical decision-making
Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and engineering leads to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Guide teams using modern software engineering practices, clean architecture, and secure coding standards
Lead development using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, and LINQ for backend services
Support front-end development primarily in React, with exposure to Angular and React Native
Drive adoption of Azure cloud services, including application hosting, services, and platform integrations
Support ongoing containerization efforts and migration toward Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
Champion CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, test automation, and quality gates
Promote the use of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery velocity
Ensure platform stability, performance, and compliance for mission-critical internal audit systems
Serve as a technical escalation point for complex issues, production incidents, and system integrations
Influence engineering standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives across teams

Required

15+ years of professional software development experience
Proven experience in a technical leadership or development management role
Strong hands-on expertise with: C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web APIs
SQL, LINQ, database design, and data access patterns
React (primary), with exposure to Angular and/or React Native
Experience designing and delivering applications on Microsoft Azure
Exposure to containerized environments and Kubernetes concepts (AKS preferred)
Strong understanding of cloud-native and distributed system design principles
Experience working with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, and automated testing practices
Practical experience leveraging AI tools in the software development lifecycle
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical teams without direct people management
Ability to operate effectively across product, architecture, and engineering stakeholders
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required

Preferred

Azure or .NET-related certifications
Experience supporting internal enterprise platforms in regulated or compliance-driven environments
Background working on systems supporting audit, assurance, or risk management functions
