Responsibilities
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the configuration workstream on large Government implementations (Medicaid, Medicare, and Medical/Surgical)
Design, build, troubleshoot, and prototype healthcare benefit configurations
Lead and represent configuration efforts in cross-functional meetings , including requirements gathering and solution discussions
Capture and document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications
Execute and support testing activities, including claims testing and configuration validation
Perform data analysis and troubleshooting , including writing SQL queries to extract and validate backend data
Prepare and validate data by identifying and resolving duplicates, errors, and inconsistencies
Conduct Fit/Gap analyses for new client plans and provide configuration recommendations
Collaborate with configuration leadership on roadmap initiatives to support automation and scalability
Self-manage workload to meet project timelines, SLAs, and KPIs
Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and business partners
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with FACETS (required)
SQL / database experience (Oracle SQL preferred)
Healthcare claims and benefit configuration knowledge
Medicaid and/or Medicare program experience
Proven ability to lead cross-functional meetings and represent configuration workstreams
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
5+ years of experience with FACETS platform
5+ years of experience with medical plan benefit configuration
5+ years of experience with provider network and agreement configuration
5+ years of experience with Medicare and Medicaid programs
Experience with automation tools (Informatica-based or similar)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience (flexible)
