They are seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications to lead brand strategy and organic marketing efforts across their digital sleep clinic and MedTech platform.

Responsibilities

Define and own the overarching brand, messaging, and positioning strategy across both the digital clinic and MedTech platforms
Develop clear, differentiated narratives for distinct audiences including patients, clinicians, partners, and the broader healthcare ecosystem
Translate complex clinical, technical, and regulatory concepts into compelling, credible storytelling
Ensure consistency and quality across all brand touchpoints while allowing each business line to speak authentically to its audience
Set and execute the organic marketing and communications strategy across social, website, blog, email, PR narratives, and marketing enablement materials
Rebuild and scale content engines from the ground up, including social channels, long-form content, and thought leadership
Provide creative direction while remaining close to execution, leveraging modern tools and AI to test, iterate, and move quickly
Partner with internal stakeholders to support launches, clinical storytelling, partnerships, and reputation-building initiatives
Work closely with Growth, Product, Clinical, Sales, and Performance Marketing teams to ensure aligned go-to-market execution
Support demand generation initiatives through strong narrative, messaging, and brand presence (without owning paid performance)
Contribute to executive-level discussions around positioning, market expansion, and long-term brand equity
Support investor, partner, and external-facing communications as required

Required

Proven experience in digital health, healthtech, medical devices, or regulated healthcare environments (e.g. virtual care, diagnostics, MedTech, medical SaaS, digital therapeutics)
Track record of owning brand, marketing, and communications in a healthcare setting where clinical credibility, regulatory awareness, and patient trust are critical
Experience translating complex clinical, scientific, or technical topics into clear, compelling messaging for patients, clinicians, and enterprise healthcare stakeholders

Preferred

Prior experience in venture-backed start-ups or scale-ups is strongly preferred
Exposure to multi-product or multi-brand environments within healthcare is a plus
