Senior Project Engineer
Eaton is a leading company in the electrical industry, currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer. This role focuses on supporting order management through technical ownership and enhancing customer experience by resolving project issues and collaborating with project and sales teams.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers for assigned projects
Review and interpret contract drawings and specifications ensuring technical accuracy
Manage technical changes to the bill of material
Coordinate and interpret engineered-to-order drawings
Leverage centralized resources to create and manage project documentation
Provide technical support and follow through to drive all warranty issues to closure
Act as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and factories to efficiently carry out technical order configuration, documentation, and warranty resolutions
Serve as the customer’s advocate by relaying the appropriate level of urgency to peer contacts in Eaton’s manufacturing facilities and escalating issues as required to management
Pursue continuous learning of products and applications related to engineered products
Collaborates with the Project Management Team including Project Managers, Sales Engineers, Project Coordinators, other Project Engineers, and the Documentation Team
Lead verbal or written communication with internal and external stakeholders to address technical scope and design concerns
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years of work experience in sales, sales support, technical role or applicable field
Relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Arden, NC to be considered

Preferred

Electrical industry expertise and product knowledge
Proficiency in applications required for job function (Eaton Bid Manager, AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, customer quality management tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft O365)
