Health Care Technician I-NCCIW
The N.C. Department of Adult Correction is responsible for the care, custody, and supervision of adults sentenced for violating North Carolina laws. They are seeking a Health Care Technician I to monitor patients and perform technical procedures under the supervision of a Licensed Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities
Obtain vital signs
Assist patients with activities of daily living
Maintain level of observations of patients
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school or General Educational Development diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Nurse Aide I listing by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation
Valid driver's license
Advanced Physical Skills (APS) certification through the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) and CPR certification within 60 days
Applicants must pass a background check to be eligible for this job
Proficient in written and verbal English
Ability to follow the treatment plans and/or clinical orders
Ability to learn behavior management and supportive counseling techniques
Ability to observe patients and make written and oral reports
