Responsibilities
Support residents through the daily house schedule
Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy living environment
Provide clinical case management, including case notes and treatment plans
Answer crisis hotline calls
Conduct intakes and discharges
Manage the staff schedule by approving time-off requests and arranging coverage, including relief/last-minute coverage as needed
Assist supervisors in onboarding new staff, interns, and volunteers
Monitor and correct resident files to ensure compliance with licensing standards
Ensure that daily paperwork is filed appropriately by staff
Compile monthly program statistics
Complete community errands (using agency and/or personal vehicles), such as weekly grocery shopping
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (preferably in psychology, social work, human services, or a related field)
Willing to undergo a background investigation prior to employment and become certified in CPR/First Aid and Medication Administration
Some experience working in the mental health/social services field, especially with teenagers
Some experience with providing supervision and/or training
Preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish
